Hip Hooray to my NSD Winners!

Hola! Feliz Cinco de Mayo, mis amigos.

Today’s a special day and not only because it’s Mexican Independence Day. It’s also the day I announce my Nat’l Scrapbooking Day winners. But before I do, I’d like to thank all of you for entering and participating in my giveaway. I simply love reading your comments and couldn’t agree with you more on the wonderful reasons we scrapbook.

Okay, on to those winning names.

First, the bucket of brads. And the winner is…
Jenn: Scrapbooking lets me be me! It's my way of keeping a journal of my life and my kid's lives.

Now, on to the Chatterbox album and frames. The lucky lady giving these a home is…

Christy: I love your blog! I will definitely be checking it our more now! I give a hoot about scrapbooking when my kids sit down with their albums and look through them over and over again! That makes it worth it!

And last but not least, the Making Memories yum. Yeehaw for…

Lisa: I think the best thing about scrappin' for me is the opportunity to make friends and have social time. I do love my alone time in my scrap cave but the group scraps are the best and really helped me emerge from my post-partum blues a few years ago!

Congrats to my winners! Please email me at mhoeppner@ckmedia.com with your name and mailing address and I’ll get your prizes shipped.

And again, thanks to all who left comments and celebrated NSD along with me. Let’s do it again next year, shall we?

Adios!

Happy Cinco!!!
congrats to your winners, they all have fantastic reasons!
I almost invited you but chickened out, didn't want to put you in an awkward spot, next year is too far away...
Will find a reason to get a group together very soon!!!

Congrats to all the winners but I have to admit that I am stopping by for a completly selfish reason.
Can you tell me where to purchase teh fabric bins and 12x12 hanging folders. This is EXACTLY what I have been looking for to store all of my pattern paper! (I saw this with the online content, maybe it's in the mag but I haven't gotten mine yet.) I need to see it to use it and I like to flip stuff, thanks so much in advance!

hello hello!
sorry it's taken me so long to respond {and sorry for posting this here, but I can't find an email for you}.
I ended up getting THIS sewing machine...
1. it's on sale this week
2. it's one that my mom can quilt/sew on when she comes down here to visit, rather than dragging her $$$$Pfaff$$$$ down with her.
3. Mom recommended this one because if I do want to quilt again, it has a walking foot, which will help 'hold' the fabric {she also thought the walking foot might be beneficial when sewing on paper.. we havent' tried that yet, though}
Soooo, just my two cents....
my Mom has used it and she seems to think it's a really nice machine for the price. Obviously there are much more expensive machines out there, I guess it just depends what you are specifically looking for, and what you are willing to invest in :)
HTH girl ;)
happy weekend!!
